Street crews have finished plowing all streets and applied material to the routes. As a result, Phase I of the Emergency Snow Ordinance that began Saturday, March 1st, in response to the winter weather expired effective 10:00 a.m. today, March 3rd.
In the interest of public safety, please shovel sidewalks for store patrons, residents who must walk rather than drive and individuals with motorized mobility devices. Walking on icy and snowy streets poses a great danger to pedestrians as well as drivers.
The City of Warrensburg extends our thanks to the public for your cooperation in keeping the streets free of parked cars so that street crews can perform the necessary de-icing and plowing in the interest of public safety.
