Planned Roadway Closure
WARRENSBURG, MO (January 30, 2015) – East Gay Street will be closed between Maguire St. to Mitchell St. beginning Monday, February 2nd and Tuesday February 3rd, weather permitting. This street closure is due to the necessity for the repair of a collapsed sanitary sewer pipe located near the intersection of East Gay Street and Land Street. Vehicles may access businesses and the Community Center by way of Mitchell Street and North Street.
A detour route outside the work zone will be posted for motorists to follow and residents living within the work zone will be allowed access to their residences.
The City is expecting to have East Gay Street back open to normal traffic within two (2) working days, weather permitting. Some additional work will be required afterwards to complete the project.
