Neighborhood Services Coordinator
The City of Warrensburg is accepting applications for a full time Neighborhood Services Coordinator. An Associates Degree in codes administration, construction science, safety, public administration, project administration, planning, architecture, or landscape architecture or related field is preferred. A combination of housing administration or building code inspection experience and formal education may be considered. Responsible for proactive and complaint driven property Maintenance Code compliance, education and assistance efforts. Recruits and coordinates volunteers and volunteer opportunities to provide homeowners assistance with home maintenance or rehabilitation, and neighborhood level clean-up efforts. Demonstrates a commitment to best practices and problem-solving in a team-oriented environment. The position requires excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally with residents, tenants, landlords, staff, and elected officials. Applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug / alcohol screening and full background investigation.
