The Warrensburg Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 4:55 am on Monday, March 17, 2014. Crews arrived on scene to find a residential structure heavily involved in fire, with flames coming through the roof. The structure was a total loss. No one was home at the time of the fire.
The Warrensburg Fire Department was assisted during the incident by the Johnson County Fire Protection District, Missouri Division of Fire Safety, University of Central Missouri Department of Public Safety, Warrensburg Police Department, and Warrensburg Public Works Department.
Crews cleared the scene shortly after 4 pm on March 17th. The fire was ruled incendiary in nature. The investigation is ongoing by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, Warrensburg Fire Department, and Warrensburg Police Department.
